Welcome to Prescott Valley Charter School
Dear Families,
Welcome to Prescott Valley Charter School.
On behalf of our Governing Board, thank you for considering PVCS as your partner in your child's education. We understand that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we are honored that you have taken the time to learn more about our school community.
Since opening our doors in 2002, Prescott Valley Charter School has been committed to providing students with a safe, supportive, and academically challenging environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive. Our goal is simple: to develop strong minds, strong character, and a strong future for every student we serve.
At PVCS, we believe every child possesses unique talents, interests, and potential. From our preschool and elementary programs, where students build strong academic foundations and a love of learning, to our middle and high school programs that encourage independence, leadership, and personal growth, we strive to create meaningful educational experiences that prepare students for lifelong success.
We believe every student deserves access to pathways that align with their individual interests, talents, and goals. Whether a student's passion lies in academics, athletics, the arts, leadership, technical training, or community service, our goal is to help them discover their strengths and pursue their future with confidence.
As students prepare for life after high school, PVCS offers opportunities for both college and career readiness. Through partnerships with Mountain Institute Career and Technical Education District (MICTED), Yavapai College, and other educational partners, students may earn industry-recognized certifications, workforce credentials, and college credits while still in high school. Many students graduate with a significant number of college credits already completed, and some may even earn an associate degree alongside their high school diploma.
Beyond academics, students have opportunities to participate in athletics, dance, theatre and performing arts, leadership programs, clubs, enrichment activities, and community partnerships that help them build confidence, develop friendships, and become engaged members of their community.
We believe strong schools are built through strong partnerships with families. Together, we can create an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
As you explore our website and learn more about our programs, we invite you to visit our campuses, meet our staff, and experience firsthand what makes Prescott Valley Charter School a special place for students and families.

Sincerely,
Heather Phares
